New construction FAQ
Does it cost more to use an agent with a builder?
No. The builder pays the buyer's agent commission from their marketing budget, and the price is the same whether or not you bring an agent.
Why do I need an agent at my first visit?
Many builders only pay a buyer's agent who was with you — or who registered you — on your first visit. Contact Raja Dar before you walk into a sales office.
Are builder incentives negotiable?
Often, yes — especially near the end of a quarter or on move-in-ready homes. Incentives can go toward the price, upgrades or closing costs.
Do I need an inspection on a new home?
Yes. New homes can have defects too. We recommend a pre-drywall inspection and a final inspection before closing.
